Dueton jumps back into action

Jessica Hamersley from Belle’s Park agistment centre puts Dueton through his paces.

EWR stable favourite Dueton was back at Ascot trackwork this morning after enjoying the last six weeks spelling and pre-training (including some jumping) at Bernie and Karen Miller’s Belle’s Park in Hopelands.

Dueton was spelled after finishing unplaced at Belmont on May 23, winding up a nine-start preparation that included a win at Belmont on May 9, as well as two third placings at Ascot during April.

The rising six-year-old has been an absolute stand-out for our stable, winning eight of his 38 starts and pocketing over $379,000 in stakes. And the way he has returned from his break suggests there are many more good times ahead.
