Quality four-year-old Cuanzo suffered a setback after racing at Belmont on 5 September, however, he is right back on track now and showed he was ready to return to the races when a closing second behind Waterman’s Bay in Heat 7 at yesterday’s Belmont trials.
We’ll see how he recovers from this hit-out and, all being well, will look towards nominating him to race within the next fortnight.
