Trackwork Update: Ascot 8/12/2015

Horse Work
Cuanzo Slow (Trot & Canter)
Theo (Oratorio-Geigerita 4YO gelding) completed another recovery session after racing at Ascot on Saturday. Is a bit battered and bruised after struggling on the heavy track on the weekend and we will continue to monitor his recovery before considering any upcoming racing options.
Dueton Slow (Trot & Canter)
Dewey (Due Sasso-Californium 6YO gelding) completed another recovery session after racing at Ascot on Saturday. Lost a shoe in running and received some cuts due to interference on the weekend, so he will enjoy an easy week. We plan to nominate him in the Rating 78+ Handicap (1200m) at Ascot on Saturday December 19.
Card Knight Fast Work (Even Time)
Rocky (Discorsi-Recalcitrant 4YO gelding) worked his way up to even time (15 seconds/200 metres) in an aerobic workout designed to help maintain fitness levels. He has pleased us this week after racing at Narrogin last Friday and we plan on starting him in the All Aged Maiden (1400m) at Bunbury next Friday December 11.
Trinicle Pace Work (3/4 Pace)
Herbie (Oratorio-Trinton 3YO gelding) worked his way up to 3/4-pace in an aerobic workout designed to help burn fat, and strengthen the heart and lungs. We are satisfied with his condition during the middle stage of his training preparation.
